Corona del Mar senior middie Stephen Von Der Ahe is the MaxLaxOC.com Offensive Player of the Week. Derz busted out in a big way against Brighton, UT last week, scoring six goals against the No. 10 team in the West on March 11. His final goal in the fourth quarter turned out out to be the difference maker in the Sea Kings’ 11-10 victory.
Steven Von Der Ahe looks to have come back in 2016 stronger and with improved shooting. His size and improved shooting skills are sure to create matchup problems for opposing defenses. Proving that he has no intention of being a one-hit wonder, Von Der Ahe followed up his six goal performance with a four-goal outing against San Clemente.
