El Toro defeated Yorba Linda 9-3 on Tuesday. The El Toro defense was led by a strong effort from Blake Young who recoverd five groundballs and caused two turnovers. LSM Jacon Handley recovered three goundballs. Goalie AJ Sherer stopped 8 of the 11 shots he faced (73%). Offensively the Chargers were led by attack Sean Collins’ three goals. The remainder of the scoring was evenly distributed amongst Tyler Collins (1g, 2a), Parker Matthews (1g, 2a), Jared Vlach, Brandon Piovan, Jack Vandenburg and Luke Messinger with one apiece.
