West Coast Players Create Buzz at Terrapin Fall Classic and Autumn Gold

It was a big weekend for high school lacrosse players with an eye on the next level as the recruiting season got underway with some big east coast this weekend.  For the classes of 2020 and 2021, the Terp Classic in Philadelphia and Autumn Gold in are a tremendous opportunity to catch the eyes of college coaches.

Here’s a rundown of some West Coast players who put their best foot forward and created some buzz.

At Terps Classic in Philadelphia:

  • Kai Kelly (2020) of and IMG Academy had a big weekend with 13 goals and 5 assists over two days.  Looks like the Syracuse legend Coach Burnham is schooling the youngster well at IMG.
  •  (2019) of Palos Verdes ( Sacred Heart) got hot at FOGO Sunday going 70% vs some good ones.
  •  (2020) of Mira Costa had coaches talking, the LSM had a goal Sunday and plenty of ground balls, played tough on the wings all weekend.
  • , the commit, native went beast mode on several opponents.  The 2020 from Sunset High School (OR) is a  baller no doubt.  The kid dees up! Better run, attackmen.
  •  (Poway, 2020) showed why he’s committed to Syracuse. The middie scored lefty, righty, alley dodge, rollbacks.  Plenty of assists as well.

Down in MD, at Autumn Gold, 2020 goalie of caught fire Sunday according to several sources.  This youngster can stop the ball for sure. Buzz is building, this kid can play.
