Victory Box defeated Legion of Doom (Poway) in the Elite Division championship game to win the Southern California Indooor Lacrosse League (SCILL) California Cup. Victory went 2-1 on the first day of the two day tournament, losing to Legion of Doom 9-8, and defeating Sharks 14-13, and Limitless 14-2. Victory was led offensively by Robbie Burns (San Clemente) and Chase Williams (St. Margaret’s), scoring most of the teams goals. Mikey McGraw (St. Margaret’s), Austin McGowan (San Clemente, who also stepped up on face-offs), and goalie Brodie Collins (San Clemente) locked it down defensively, especially in the championship game. Donny Craycraft (El Toro) was a dominant transition player.
