Undefeated Fullerton Will Celebrate Senior Night on Monday

CalStateFullertonColor1The undefeated Cal State Fullerton Titans (5-0) will play on their own campus for the first time this season when they host the mighty Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz at Titan Stadium Tuesday evening. Coach Mike Ansel is hoping that the OC lacrosse community will show up to watch some great lacrosse and celebrate Senior Night with the Titans at one of the best lacrosse venues in Orange County. The festivities start at 5 p.m. with free food and games at a tailgate party in Lot A. Admission to the game is $5.

The real fun begins inside the stadium at 7 p.m. when the game begins. The high powered Titans run and gun offense, featuring home grown Orange County talent, has outscored the competition 69-25 this year. Freshman Alex Kowalski (Huntington Beach) is averaging over 4 goals per game, Senior Jeff Lyons (El Toro) has 11 goals, Matt Martinez (Laguna Hills) has 12 goals, and senior Gabe Alamillo (Mater Dei) has 16 goals. Even the defense is getting in on the action; CdM’s Austin Ray has two goals including one worth second look on the MaxLaxOC.com Top 10 plays of the week.
