Tucker Page to Lead New Portola High School Boys Lacrosse Program

Tucker Page has accepted the head coaching position for the new Portola High School boys lacrosse program in Irvine.  Page is a 2015 graduate of Irvine High School. He was the Vaqueros’ Most Valuable Player, a team captain and a First Team Pacific Coast All-League selection his senior season at Irvine.   Page played for Sonoma State last season before transferring to Concordia for the current academic year.  He will continue his lacrosse career at Concordia.

“I’m very excited to have the incredible opportunity to build a program from the ground up, especially at a school that has the staff and facilities that Portola does,” Page said by email. “Big things are coming in the future for the Bulldogs!”

Page will be building a program from scratch at the brand new high school that just opened its doors in August. The current student body of 400 students is comprised entirely of freshmen. The 43-acre campus in north Irvine will eventually enroll as many as 2,600 students in grades 9 through 12.
