For Trabuco Hills, the big push began Tuesday night on a beautiful Orange County evening. Trabuco Hill kept their playoff hopes alive with a 10-6 victory over the Temecula Valley Golden Bears. This contest was well played by both teams with the battle of possession going to Trabuco who kept the ball on their offensive end for most of the game. One of the keys to this was the face off work from Jake Lansnser from Trabuco who dominate control all night to give the Mustangs valuable possessions. The Golden Bears were the first to strike in a tightly played 1st quarter that ended with Trabuco leading 3-2 with two goals from Joey Clark and one from Andrew Blume. The second quarter brought much of the same back and forth battle with Temecula Valley adding two goals, including one from Eric Fasbender. The Mustangs extended their lead to 6–4 at the intermission with goals from Maxlaxoc player of the week Jake Marthens and Andrew Blume’s second goal of the night. The Mustangs were able to keep their momentum with 3rd quarter goals from John Kauo and Jake Marthens and the Golden Bears added a goal of their own from Robby Bancroft with the score 8-5 in favor of Trabuco going into the final period. The Golden Bears strike first in the 4th to close the gap at 8-6 off a nice outside rip from Roy Hinman making this game an exciting contest. The Mustang defense was up to the task however and Trabuco added goals from Billy Barron and Marthens , who buried his 4th goal of the night, reach the final score of 10–6.

Blume  finished the game with 5 points, 2 goals and 3 assists.  Marthens found the back of the net 4 times and Joey Clark finished the night with 2 goals and 1 assist .
