The Orange County quartet of (Tesoro), Adam Smith (Tesoro), (San Clemente) and   (Aliso Niguel) have led to a 2-0 start.  The Broncos have won their first two games in convincing fashion, defeating  Nevada 19-4 in a non-league game and dominating PNCLL-opponent Montana 24-6.

Attacks Finn and Smith have teamed up with middies Lickley and Murphy to lead the offensive surge.  Smith who had an MVP-like season in 2015 with  84 groundballs, 61 goals and 30 assists, is picking up right where he left. Smith has 14 groundballs and 14 points (9 goals, 5 assists) after just two games.Finn is keeping pace with his high school teammate, racking up 14 points of his own (6 goals, 8 assists) and several “sick” feeds to put teammates in scoring positions.

The two sophomore middies, Lickley and Murphy, are old fashioned two-way midfielders getting it done on both ends of the field.  They have combined for 5 goals and 2 assists all while trying to keep D-Pole and roommate David Manning (Carlsbad) from stealing their gummy bears.

The competition gets stiffer this week with the Broncos hosting No. 8 BYU and No. 20 Simon Fraser coming to town- both coming off convincing season opening victories.
