The number of Orange County players moving on to play college lacrosse continues to increase every year. We will post occasional updates on some of the pioneers who are already in the college ranks and proving to college coaches throughout the country that the OC is indeed fertile grounds for lacrosse recruiting.
Noah Molnar, Lehigh Mountain Hawks
Noah was a midfielder for the Corona del Mar Sea Kings earning All America, All-County honors, and was the 2009 Orange County Player of the Year. Noah graduated in 2009 and was recruited to play at Lehigh University, a strong Division 1 program in the Patriot League. Molnar is considered on of the top defensive midfielders in the college game and continues to lead the Mountain Hawks who are 9 – 4 on the season (5-0 in Patriot League play) and currently ranked 14th in the nation. Molnar has recorded one goal, eight groundballs, and seven caused turnovers so far this season. In January, the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse drafted Noah 45th.
