Operation Help A Hero invites all members of the Orange County Lacrosse Community to join them as they welcome home single Marines returning home from deployment. Teams and individuals are welcome to team up with the Santa Margarita and St. Margaret’s lacrosse teams for this special event at Camp Pendleton on April 9 from noon to 4:00 pm. The OHH team will welcome the heroes home with gifts and notes of appreciation.
For two-thirds of our fighting forces, the barracks is home. This means that when they return from months deployed overseas, their first experience home can be a bit impersonal and underwhelming. This is where OHH steps in with our Operation Rack Pack (barracks) project. The OHH team welcomes the heroes with gifts of gratitude and messages from the community to let them know the sacrifices they’ve made on our behalf are appreciated.
This year OHH will welcome home roughly 6,900 single Marines and Sailors returning from deployment to Camp Pendleton, Miramar, 29 Palms (and attachments from Yuma). OHH can use your help and invites you to donate and volunteer to make their homecomings the best yet.
