>Every year Adrenaline invites 170 of the best lacrosse players from the western United States and Canada to show off their talents to 75+ college recruiters at the Adrenaline Showcase at Sonoma State University. Just to be invited to such a competitive event is an honor. To be recognized as one of the top 10 performers is high praise indeed. So we tip our hats to San Clemente High School rising senior Austin Streeter and Corona del Mar High School rising junior Hugh Crance. The Adrenaline Blog reports that Streeter and Crance were amongst the 10 most impressive players at this year’s event. Here is what the Adrenaline Evaluation Team had to say about Streeter, a middie, and Crance, an All-County defenseman as a sophomore:
Hugh Crance: Crance was a relentless nuisance to his attackmen. He pushed out on his opponents and showed great feet and tremendous off ball play.
Austin Streeter: Streeter is stocky, shifty and has great hands. He also showed toughness and has a nice outside shot.
The Adrenaline Showcase is an extremely selective summer individual recruitment event attended by only the top 5% of players from each specific region. With representation from the majority of top NCAA D1, D2, D3 and MCLA programs, 75-100 recruiters from all levels attend this event to evaluate the top talent. Typically, the Adrenaline Showcases precedes the Shootout so recruiters can evaluate top players perform both as individuals and in a team atmosphere. Players are placed on teams and go through a myriad of valuable high level clinics and seminars by NCAA coaches while competing in a series of top level games. Insightful recruitment education programs are also available to parents. The AET is on hand actively advocating for the Showcase players. With a Collegiate Placement Success Rate of 84%, the Adrenaline Showcase is a premier recruiting event.
