Streaking Oak Park Moves Up One in Coaches Poll

With many teams off last week for spring break, there was little movement in the US Lacrosse/MaxLaxLA Coaches Poll. Oak Park, which has won six games in a row, moved up from No. 6 to No. 5, and Sierra Canyon moved from No. 13 to No. 12, despite losing to No. 8 Oaks Christian.

The top four spots remained the same — Loyola, Palos Verdes, Harvard Westlake and Chaminade — although Loyola strengthened its hold on the No. 1 spot with 21 first-place votes after beating Coronado, St. Ignatius (Ohio) and Poway last week. Palos Verdes received the other first-place vote.

Below are the results of the US Lacrosse/MaxLaxLA boys coaches poll after Week 6 of the regular season — the week ending April 7 — with 22 ballots submitted.
