MaxLaxOC.com that Foothill High School 2013 grad Cameron Stone has been elected captain of the 2015 for the Community College Baltimore County – Essex Knights.  Essex is one of the top junior college programs in the country, and Stone has made the most of his time there.  After scoring 50 points last year stone verbally committed to play Division 1 college lacrosse at Mt. Saint Mary’s University in Maryland where he will enroll in the fall.

Inlacrossewetrust.com had this to say about Stone and his team” Essex is the power coming out of Baltimore and has been the championship three times since 2008 but has not been able to win it since 2004. Right now their offence will go through its west coast star and Mount St. Mary’s commit Cameron Stone who had fifty points last year (38G,12A). At midfield Jake Brown in back to lead the way after putting up twenty-two points and will be top first line player. The Essex coaches went far up north and got a freshman in Blake McDonald from Six Nations. Blake plays for both the Junior A Arrows and the Junior B Hamilton Bengals he can be a huge player for this team on offense. In net redshirt freshman Max Edelman is back and looking to make a name for himself this spring. Essex already has a few Salisbury commits and it looks to get back in the national championship and take down whoever is in their way.”
