St. Margaret’s defeated Woodinville High School from Washington State 14-7 on Tuesday. The win evened the Tartans record at 6-6 with five games to play in the regular season. The Falcons return home with a 3-5 record after an 0-2 trip to Southern California. Woodinville also lost to Bishop’s School on Monday.
Sophomore Kevin Groeninger scored four goals in the first half to give the Tartans a 6-2 edge at the break. The Tartans continued to carry the momentum and extended their lead to 10-3 early in the second half.
Next up for St. Margaret’s (6-6) is a game against Granite Bay (9-1) on Thursday. The Grizzlies are visiting from the Sacramento area.
