St. Margaret’s Coach Glen Miles Steps Down

Glen Miles announced announced this week he has resigned from his position as head coach of the St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team.  Miles said that he and his family are moving back his home state of Maryland where he will have more opportunity to watch his daughter Niki play for the University of Pennsylvania.  He will continue in his role as the Director of Victory Lacrosse.

Miles led the Tartans to four Orange County championships and three Southern Section championships in his seven seasons at St. Margaret’s. Prior to taking over at St. Margaret’s Miles was the head coach at San Clemente High School, helping the Tritons reach the 2012 Orange County Championship game.

Miles was a three-time All-American midfielder at the United States Naval Academy and  the USILA’s national midfielder of the year in 1986. He was a member of the world champion 1990 U.S. Men’s National Team, and served as an alternate for the 1986 U.S. Team.

St. Margaret’s has not named a replacement yet.
