5. USC
Last Year: 2-9 (1-5)
Playoff Finish: N/A

Under the leadership of second year Head Coach Chris Boland, things are looking up at USC.

Boland is rebuilding and is optimistic about the incoming class of 15 freshmen to supplement 2014’s strong recruiting class.  The Trojans will count on a mix of veteran leadership and youthful enthusiasm to guide them through the 2015 season. It looks like freshman Nikos Koumontzis (St. Thomas Academy, MN), sophomore Dan Lammers (Poway, CA), and senior Andy Ronald (Arapahoe, CO) will form the starting attack unit. In the midfield, graduate student Stephen Holly (Mountain Pointe, AZ) leads the way for do-it-all middie Jack Gilchrist (Foothill, CA) and Ross Ewing (Williston Northhampton, NH).  Defensively senior captain Jack Medall (Charlotte Latin, CA), sophomore Reid Markham (St. Louis University, MO), and freshman Peter Hollen (Torrey Pines, CA) will do their best to keep the Trojans’ opponents in check.  In another goalie controversy, freshman Mark Reinhart (Sycamore, OH) will battle it out with Christian Davey (John Jay, NY), and Joshua Blockstein (Montgomery Blair, MD) for the starting job.  While the Trojans have an uphill fight to the top of the SLC, their impressive  recruiting classes surely have them headed in the right direction.
