SLC Preview: Division 1 North

The Southwestern Lacrosse Conference cemented its reputation as one of the top conferences in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association last season by hosting the National Tournament and then placing three teams in the Division 1 semi-finals.  The opening two rounds were played at University of California Irvine before  the tournament moved to Chapman University for the semi-final and championship games.   The University of Colorado Buffaloes defeated the Arizona State University Sun Devils 13-12 in a thrilling Championship game.  If you missed the action, don’t fret because the National Tournament returns to Southern California this year.

The SLC looks to be as strong as ever in both Divisions 1 and 2, and hopes of improving on last year’s success are not unreasonable.  MaxLaxSD.com will follow the SLC in 2015 from the opening faceoff of the season until the final whistle blows in the National Championship game.  We begin our coverage with a four-part pre-season preview.  Today we focus on the SLC Division 1 North.
