Seven players from the Los Angeles area have been selected to play for the South team in the 2015 Adrenaline All-American Game, a dramatic increase from last year, when only one L.A. player received the honor.
This year’s game, featuring 50 of the best players from the Western United States, is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego.
Among the players invited to participate in the game are Palos Verdes teammates David McCann and Stanton Gilbertson; Jesse Cuccia of Westlake; Sammy Edwards of Beverly Hills; Josh Williamson of Redondo Union; Jonah Swigart of Agoura; and Michael Marinelli of Newbury Park.
Last year, only attack Carlo Castaneda of Westlake represented the L.A. area in the game.
Orange County is well represented this year, with 13 players selected for the game.
