In the biggest upset of the 2015 boys’ lacrosse season, No. 18 Servite shocked No.6 Great Oak 6-4. The Friars jumped on Great Oak early, opening up a 4-1 first quarter lead. Thanks to the combination of Gordon Livermore, who won 13 of face offs to keep the ball in Servites’s control, a stingy defense, which held the Wolfpack to six shots on goal, The first quarter margin held up for the rest of the game.
Stephen Shatynski’s hat trick led the Friars. Kyle Cartwright (1g, 2a), Chase Anderson (1g), Jack Brennan (1g), Adam Armienta (1a), Matthew Glenn (1a), and Brandon Box (1a) completed the Servite scoring.
Zach Frache (1g), Alexander Cunningham (2a), Kaleo Perez (1g), and Le Gault (1g, 2a) racked up the Great Oak points.
