Commits to Belmont Abbey

Newport Harbor senior has committed to play NCAA Division 2 lacrosse at Belmont Abbey University in Belmont, North Carolina. Farley finished the 2016 season with 32 points (27 goals, 5 assists), 26 groundballs, 27 draw controls and 10 takeaways. Farley earned MaxPreps Player of the Game honors for her efforts against Beckman on March 14 and El Dorado on April 19. She was a First Team All-League selection.

The Belmont Abbey Crusaders compete in Conference Carolinas against Limestone, Mount Olive, Pfeiffer,North Greenville, Lees-McCrae, Converse, Emmanuel (GA) and Erskine. The Crusaders finished third in the Conference in 2016 with a 6-2 conference and 11-7 overall record.
