The big story of the night was the Eagle defense. The defensive crew of Ravi Dhouni, Avery Beck, David Fice, Billy Haines, CJ Deal, and Eric Ruback with Max Vought in goal ( 8 Saves) blanked the Chargers. It wasn’t because of the lack of effort by the Chargers or their large home crowd who supported their team to the end. The hard checking Eagles clearly rebounded from last Friday’s loss to Tesoro and proved that they can shut down an established program on their home turf.
