RecruitingRundown.com reported earlier this week that NXT Sports reviewed nearly 5,000 applications before selecting 460 sophomores and juniors for this weekend’s Philly Showcase. After watching the group of 460 play today, NXT made another cut. This time they picked the 40 best sophomores and the 40 best juniors to appear in the Fab 40 All Star game. Santa Margarita Catholic Highs School junior defenseman Eric Rubak played well enough to be the only OC representative in this very select group of lacrosse player. Rubak, who plays club for the OC Rebels, is one of only two Californians to make the 2016 Fab 40 team this weekend. Check out #19 on the 2016 Red Team to see for yourself.
