Led by Jonah Rinalidi’s five point night (3 goals and 2 asists), No. 12 Aliso Niguel defeated El Dorado 10-3 on Friday night in a chippy game.Anxious to put Monday night’s heartbreaking overtime loss to No. 15 El Toro behind them, the Wolverines wasted no time in creating a comfortable cushion in this game by jumping out to a 5-0 first quarter lead. Although the Hawks were able to slow the Wolverines down the rest of the way, they were never able to get in the game. Aliso Niguel added two more goals in the second quarter to finish the half up 7-0. Each team scored three goals in the second half to reach the final tally of 10-3. Attackman Hayden Wollman had two goals on the night for Aliso Niguel.
Aliso Niguel will look to improve on their 1-1 record when they travel to Trabuco Hills on Wednesday to face the red hot 3-0 Mustangs. The 0-2 Hawks will try to get into the win column with a home game against Tustin on Monday and an away game against Marina on Wednesday.
