Former US National Team Player Holly Reilly announced this week that Renegade Lacrosse has formed a new girls lacrosse league that will begin play this fall.   The Renegade Girls Lax League will run from September 9th through November 9th and is geared towards beginner and  intermediate players in grades 2 through 9 looking to develop their skills and have some fun.  Advanced players are welcome too!

“I am STOKED!”, said Reilly. “We have fields lined up in San Clemente, Aliso Niguel and San Juan Hills.”

Teams will practice once during the week and play games on Saturdays. There will be one practice/week and a Saturday game. Games will be small-sided to get everyone involved, maximize repetitions, and increase the pace of improvement.

“This is NOT meant to compete with club ball,” Reilly said.  “INSTEAD, I am trying to build feeder programs for high school programs and for club level play.  Right now, a beginning club player only has 3 months of experience.  It works in SoCal, but it doesn’t when we want to compete nationwide.”
