Remembering Dave Huntley 1957 – 2017

Host Fred Opie replays an interview with lacrosse legend Dave Huntley. He is a member of the US and Canadian national lacrosse Hall of Fames. He died this week at the age of 60. Huntley talks about his journey from Ontario Canada to John Hopkins University as a member of the first group of Canadians to make it big in US collegiate lacrosse, How Paul and Gary Gait landed at Syracuse University, the commitment of collegiate players today as compared to his college experience, his theory of recruiting today, and words of advice he would share with his younger self. Huntley coached high school and professional lacrosse and served as Director of the Canadian National Teams Lacrosse Program.
