Josh Williamson (Redondo Union ’16) has transferred to Boston University from Marquette. Williamson is one of 16 new Terriers announced on GoTerriers.com by Coach Ryan Polley.
“We’re excited about Josh,” said Polley in the announcement. “I think a fresh start will be a good thing for him and a change of scenery will allow him to restart his career. He’s a left-hander with a lot of talent and he can get some work at both attack and midfield. He’s mature and we expect him to come in and play for us.”
Williamson was a senior captain and four-year letter winner at Redondo Union High School. He tallied 89 goals and 113 assists during his four-year high school career, and was named a US Lacrosse All-American and an Adrenaline All-American in 2016.
Williamson sat out his freshman season at Marquette due to an injury. He played in 15 games in 2017 and 2018 and scored two goals.
