Aliso, a 7-9 team just two years ago, entered the game as a Top 10 team, maybe for the first time in program history.  Capo, although not a playoff contender this year, came into the game with five more wins than in 2013 and visions of following the Aliso path to success in the coming years.

As it turned out the Wolverines showed that they are still the class of the Sea View League, and gave their seniors a Senior Night to remember.  Aliso cruised to an 18-3 victory to finish undefeated in the Sea View League for the first time and with the team’s best overall record.   Junior attack Jonah Rinaldi added to the festivities by becoming the new single season points leader in Wolverine history by finishing the regular season with 98 total points.

The scoring was well spread by the Wolverines, with 10 different players registering points. The night was owned by senior attack Hayden Wollman who has steadily built himself back to full form after suffering a devastating torn ACL last year. Wollman finished the night with 6 goals, and 3 assists. 2 other seniors had strong contributions: James Murphy (3 goals, 2 assists), and senior attack Hunter Ossola (2 goals, 2 assists).
