No. 13: Huntington Beach High School
Huntington Beach should rebound in 2015 from a disappointing and uncharacteristic 7-10 record that left them out of the playoffs last year.  In his 6th season coaching the Oilers, head coach Brian Dunn looks forward to a young but talented team. Huntington Beach will return 4 defensive starters including 1st Team Sunset League Goalie Cole Daws, sophomore returning long pole starters Sean Dzmura and Ricky Masters and defensive midfield standout Andrew Tobin. The Oilers continue their tradition of playing a strong schedule and will need top play out of returning offensive seniors Michael Lacy, Daniel Shulze, Nick Tone and James Sidrak to power them throughout the season.

Their strength of schedule should be looked upon favorably at playoff selection time and have the Oilers razor sharp.  Key games this year include in league rivals Newport Harbor and Los Alamitos as well as games against all four Trinity League teams and Coach Dunn’s Alma Mater Corona del Mar.
