Building on a relationship and a tradition that began eight years ago, Hudson Parker has been named the head coach for the Mission Viejo High School Diablos varsity lacrosse program. A 2009 graduate of Mission Viejo, Parker joins the ever increasing number of homegrown players giving back to the local lacrosse community by joining the high school coaching ranks. While at Mission, Parker played four years of varsity lacrosse, was a 4-time all star, and a 3-time captain. He earned High School All-Star recognition his freshman year and was 2nd Team All-League his sophomore year. He continued his track record of success attaining 1st Team All-League in his junior and senior years. He was Offensive MVP his senior year and served as a Captain in his sophomore through senior years.
Parker’s love for lacrosse led him to join the Mission coaching staff immediately after graduation. Following a two-year stint as an assistant varsity and junior varsity coach, he moved up to JV Head Coach in his third season, and assumed varsity Offensive Coordinator responsibilities last year. Parker has also coached for the Storm and Victory Youth Lacrosse Programs.
