Palisades Charter Seeks Defensive Assistant Coach

Palisades Charter High School is looking for a qualified boys varsity assistant lacrosse coach, preferably with a defensive background, for the coming 2018-19 school year and beyond.

Palisades Lacrosse is the three-time defending City League champion and a Top 10 contender in the LA/Southern Section. The Dolphins are led by four-year head coach Kevin Donovan (Lehigh ’12).

Playing experience – College level NCAA or MCLA playing preferred.
Coaching Level – Higher lacrosse IQ, with ability to teach the players and communicate effectively.
Coaching Style – Ability to work positively with staff/players and accomplish tasks given.
History – Previous coaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
Specialization – Defensive specialization preferred but not mandatory.

Availability: Immediately
Timeline – Looking for a coach to start during fall training in mid-September, but mandatory ability to start by Jan. 15.
Season Dates – Jan. 15-May 15.
Schedule – Must attend 75 percent of practices (3x week) and all games (16-18 per year).

Salary: TBD – Based on skill & availability
Range – $4,000 – $6,000
Stipend depends on availability for fall and regular-season practices, as well as additional support in coaching preparation.
Additional opportunities in summer and fall travel ball with Club Pacific.
