Orange County Will Be Well Represented at the San Diego Elite 100

Over a dozen players from Orange County high schools have been invited to participated in the inaugural San Diego Elite 100 recruiting showcase this weekend. The players representing the OC are Garrett Parsons, Trevor Cook, Avery Beck, Griffin Rockey, Wes Schuler, and Michael Senecal from Santa Margarita; Peyton Garrett, Jordan Riggs, and Collin Zines from San Clemente; Gunner Garn, Logan Olmsted, Blake Warner from JSerra; Chase Warner from Tesoro; and Hunter Edington from St. Margaret’s.

The San Diego Elite 100 is unique in its intimate approach and the up close exposure it offers to college lacrosse coaches. Participation is limited to 100 of the best players in Southern California to provide maximum exposure, and the players will get to work directly with colleges coaches. The showcase starts with drills conducted by the college coaches who will be working with the players and offering tips and advice. After the players get to know the coaches in the drills they spend the rest of the weekend playing games in front of the college coaches. Pat Tracy Associate Head Coach of High Point University will be looking for new recruits at the San Diego Elite 100 and said in an email to those attending the showcase “I can’t tell you how excited myself and the other college coaches that are coming are to work with and watch you play during the San Diego Elite 100. This will be an amazing opportunity for you to not only showcase your lacrosse abilities in front of college coaches, but to also have an opportunity to work closely with them as well. Our goal is for you to gain exposure to college coaches and there is no better way to gain exposure than to play in front of them and to work with them in this environment. The San Diego Elite 100 will give you the opportunity to compete against the best in a highly competitive environment. We expect to have an amazing turnout of talent and college coaches.”
