OC Girls Earn a Top Seed at Nationals

US Lacrosse Orange CountyThe Orange County Girls’ National Team finished day 1 of the US Lacrosse Women’s National tournament in Bel Aire, MD by taking over  the top seed in their bracket.  The team, which is lead by head coach Dave Elkins and is comprised of some the top girls’ high school lacrosse players in the OC, finished the day with a 2-1 record.  Following a slow start, a 10-6 loss to Colorado, the local ladies got hot and beat Maine 10-7 and then Georgia 2 6-3. The Georgia team entered the tournament as the No. 1seed in the bracket.  The tournament moves into the elimination round today and OC plays Oregon at 10:30 eastern time.  If they win that game, the OC girls will play the winner of the Nor Cal 2 vs. Georgia 2 game.  Stay tuned to MaxLaxOC.com for updates.
