Northwood High School is looking for a qualified head coach to direct our Varsity Lacrosse team for the 2016 season (coaching only). The Northwood program will begin its 8th year and is well-supported by the administration and parent support group. The team is coming off a successful 2015 season where we finished with a record of 14-4 in the Pacific Coast League.  The school seeks to hire a qualified candidate who has a lacrosse background and an understanding of the modern lacrosse game. Compensation is based on a District-approved in-season stipend. Additional compensation is available through offseason and summer camp work.

Fundamental responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and run all varsity practices and games
  • Communicate and coordinate with the school
  • Direct all phases of a successful program

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Lacrosse playing experience
  • High lacrosse IQ to be able to teach the players
