Faced with the prospect of graduating with winless records against crosstown rival Santa Margarita, coach Brian Dunn‘s alma mater, and former South Coast League nemesis, San Clemente, the Titans methodically checked each one of the to-do list this season.
March 10: Tesoro 13, Santa Margarita 6
March 31: Tesoro 10, CdM 8
And after Saturday’s 15-5 rout of No. 6 San Clemente, all the scores are settled. The Titans are now five games away from the first undefeated season in program history.
