Derek D’Aquino (6 goals, 1 assist) and Cameron Bentley (6g, 1a) each put up seven points to help Murrieta Mesa boys lacrosse defeat El Dorado 19-5 on Tuesday.  With the W, the Rams improved to 14-3 on the season and ran their winning streak to eight straight games.

Mesa recovered quickly from a slow start in which El Dorado scored first. The Rams responded with three quick goals and ran away with the game from there.  In addition to D’Aquino and Bentley, Austin Sandvig (2g, 2a), Mitch Papa (1g, 2a), Kevin Aldrian (1g), Luc Piechowski (1g), Nick Rizzo (1a), and Jacob Ray (1a) contributed points.

Rizzo and Ray led the team with 10 groundballs each.  Justus Romo had 13 saves.
Next up for Murrieta Mesa is Senior Night (and final regular season game of the season) vs Vista Murrieta (14-4) on Thursday at 7:30 pm.  El Dorado (8-8) finishes the season with a Century League game against Esperanza (5-11) on Friday.
