Mullen defeated Wheat Ridge 13-10 to climb into the top ten. Wheat Ridge came out strong early but only lead 3-2 after the first quarter. Mullen fought back and tied the game by half time 5-5. Mullen took advantage of some costly defensive mistakes by Wheat Ridge and pulled away in the 3rd to lead 9-7 and continued their momentum to lead 13-7 late in the 4th quarter. What Ridge continued to fight but could only get it to 13-10 before the final whistle. Mullen was lead by Michael Pryor and Aaron Boyd on offense. Wheat Ridge leading scorers were Regan Devine.
