Emily Grimes

School: Aliso Niguel High School
Grade: Sophomore
Position: Midfield/Attack

This will be Emily’s first time on the National Team but she has been a varsity player on the Aliso Niguel High School team since her freshman year. She has been part of Team OC, Superstix and West Coast Starz club teams, in her five years as a lacrosse player. This season she has had an impressive 39 goals and over 39 groundballs, leaving her mark on the Aliso Niguel’s varsity team.

Why are you most excited about being able to play for the National Team? Traveling with a group of great and amazing girls and lacrosse players.”

What is your favorite lacrosse memory? Winning league and scoring the sudden death goal in a championship game.”

If you could describe yourself in four “hashtags” what would they be? I wouldn’t” 🙂

 If you were told you had to live the rest of your life as an animal what animal would you be and why? A parrot cause they can see the world from a different view.”

 She works hard on and off the field to perfect her game.  She plays with her heart on her sleeve, gives all for her teammates, and leaves it all on the field.  She’ll be a great asset to this year’s team.”Aliso Niguel Coach, Dave Elkins
