Meet the Coaches: Santa Margarita Boys’ Lacrosse

Before No. 4 Santa Margarita Eagles begin their quest of repeating as Trinity League champions and winning the CIF Playoffs, let’s meet the coaching staff:

  1. Adam Guy– Head Coach- 5th season at SMCHS with a 55-24 career record. Prior to his time at Santa Margarita, he spent four years as El Toro’s head coach. 2007 Graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where he was a 4 year all conference selection and team captain.
  2. Elliot Domanic– Offensive Coordinator- 2010 Graduate of Towson University where he was a midfielder. Played his High School Career at Foothill High School. “Coach Elliot has been with the program for five years as well and has developed a great relationship with our offensive unit,” Guy said.
  3. Paddy Chester– Assistant Coach- Coach Paddy brings a wealth of knowledge to all aspects of the game. Hailing from England where he played at Sheffield as well as for the National Team, Coach Paddy is fantastic with developing younger players while also working with our veterans to make sure they are doing the little things correctly.
  4. Ryan Lampman– Defensive assistant- 2017 Graduate of Colorado State University where he was a starting defender. Played at El Toro High School where he was coached by Coach Guy.
  5. Brandon Mayo– Assistant Coach- Current player at Concordia University and graduate of Tesoro High School. Works with our lower level teams as well as varsity shooters.

“ I am very excited about this group this year. We have a great mix of veteran leadership at all positions mixed in with athletic and hungry new faces. Our goals as always are to win the Trinity League Championship and compete for a CIF Title,” Guy said.

Brandon Ross is a Digital Reporter/Editor for, entering his third year with the company. His experience in Sports Journalism began in 2014 where he served as a staff writer for Orange Coast College's Coast Report, mostly covering Sports. In the Spring of 2016, he moved onto The Daily Titan as an assistant sports editor, covering Division One College Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. He also served as The Daily Titan's "second in command" as the paper's Managing Editor, covering a variety of school and local news as well as help guide a young staff in an election season.
