Are you a high school or college student (or recent graduate) interested in a career in digital sports journalism? If so MaxLaxLA.com may be the place for you. We are looking for interns to help us cover boys’ and girls’ high school lacrosse during the 2017 spring season.

The ideal candidates are hard-working, meticulous and self-motivated team players seeking to build a body of work in digital sports media. Interns will be assigned a high school lacrosse league and write game recaps and feature stories. This work typically includes conducting and transcribing interviews both in the office and in the field, writing headlines and captions, copy editing and choosing photos.

This internship has flexible hours and typically can be performed from home/dorm except for occasional attendance of high school boys’ or girls’ lacrosse games.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to news@MaxLaxLA.com.
