Dana Hills senior midfielder Max Reynosa is the Athletes Choice Workhorse of the Week.
Reynosa does it all for the Dolphins. He is the team’s top faceoff athlete but as head coach Chris Iltis reports “Maximus” is no FOGO. He’s actually a FOSO – faceoff, stay on. Reynosa took most of the team’s face-offs last year and then, win or lose, stayed on doing what needs to be done on both ends of the field as a two-way middie.
“His percentages have been huge,” Iltis said by text message, “70 – 80% through the end of last season through the summer and now into fall ball.”
Iltis credits Reynosa’s success to his work ethic, reporting that he has not missed any practices or conditioning.
“He’s (Reynosa) also working on training the new players and helps train the young guys on OC Wave, which shows his character and his passion for the game,” Iltis added.
College coaches take note – Reynosa is still undecided on his plans for next year!
