The Mater Dei boys lacrosse team followed up their opening win last weekend with a 17-3 home win on Tuesday night against San Juan Hills. Senior Sean Waterman led the offense at attack with seven goals and one assist, followed by Pete Hagan with four goals and one assist. Luke Belinski again dominated face-offs winning 16 of 20 and picking up 13 ground balls. Freshman Samari Staten had seven ground balls and senior defenders Jack Massey, Antonio Shepard and Shane Gerrity stopped San Juan in their tracks.

The Mater Dei JV was also successful, taking home a 15-1 win.

Mater Dei’s next game is Thursday, February 28th at 7:00pm against Brighton, Utah.  San Juan Hills travels to JSerra on the same day.
