The Mater Dei boys lacrosse clinched their first Trinity League title in dominating fashion on Saturday with a 20-1 victory over defending league champs Santa Margarita. The Monarchs were led in scoring by sophomore Ryan Stiller with 4 goals but the offense showed their depth with 10 Monarchs finding the back of the net.  The defense once again held an opponent to single digits with the only Santa Margarita goal coming from long pole Kai Solomon.

The Monarchs next varsity game will be at Mater Dei against Foothill High School on Tuesday night at 5:30. The Eagles play Servite on Wednesday.
