The Mater Dei boys lacrosse team controlled both ends of the field Wednesday night to walk away with a convincing 23-5 win over Beckman. Pete Hagan (7 goals, 2 assists), Sean Waterman (6g, 2a) and Kevin Campeau (3g, 4a) paced the offense. Luke Belinski and Samari Staten contolled the carpet with 17 ground balls between them. Belinski continued to impress at faceoff, giving his team the ball in 21 of 29 faceoff attempts.
The Monarchs evened their record at 2-2 and will face Culver City at home on Saturday, March 9th at 2:00pm. Beckman (0-3) is off until March 18 when they face Portola in a Pacific Coast League matchup.
