Mad Dog Select 2021, Mad Dog West 2023 and Mad Dog West 2025 squads all took home trophies from the Adrenaline Challenge last weekend, marking the third tournament in a row the club claimed three division titles.

Vendetta HS Division

Mad Dog Select 2021, the club’s national roster, posted two one-goal victories in Saturday’s pool play, narrowly beating 3d Oregon 2020 5-4 and Seattle Starz 2020 7-6 to finish pool with a 3-0 record.

Sunday, a 9-3 quarterfinal win over Alcatraz Outlaws 2020 followed by a 10-3 win over 3d Oregon 2020 propelled Mad Dog Select 2021 into the championship game again RC HS Silver. Mad Dog Select closed out the title with a 7-4 victory.

In the same division — and even the same pool — Mad Dog West 2020 went 1-2 in pool play, including a 7-6 win over ADVNC SF 2021 Black, before beating Team Washington 2021 6-4 in a consolation bracket game, then dropping a 10-5 decision in a rematch with ADVNC SF 2021 Black.

Elsewhere in the division:

  • RC HS Silver was 5-0 before losing the championship game to Mad Dog Select. RC HS Silver went 3-0 in pool play and reached the finals by beating Madlax Oregon 2020 and Seattle Starz 2021.
  • 3d San Diego 2020 went 2-1 in pool play, then beat ADVNC Sacramento 2021 in a bracket game before falling to Seattle Starz 2020.
  • Santa Monica Dragons HS 2020/21 went 1-2 in pool play before defeating 3d Texas 2021 6-5 on Sunday. The Dragons lost to 3d Southland 2020/21 5-2 in their finale.
  • After going 0-3 in pool play on Saturday, 3d Southland 2020/21 bounced back with three consecutive victories on Sunday, defeating The Lacrosse School 2021 5-4, the SM Dragons 5-2 and edging ADVNC SF 2021 Black 7-6.
  • LA Heat 2020 went 2-1 in pool play Saturday, losing only to the Alcatraz Outlaws 2020, then dropped a 4-3 decision to Seattle Starz 2020 before bouncing back to finish with a 6-3 over ADVNC Sacramento 2021.

Darth 2023 Division

Mad Dog West 2023, Adrenaline Challenge

Mad Dog West 2023 was dominant in winning its first five games, outscoring its opponents 38-4 in pool play, then beating 3d San Diego 13-0 in the quarterfinals and Seattle Starz 2023 10-2 in the semifinals. In the title game, MDW 2023 defeated 3d Texas 2023 7-3.

Elsewhere in the division:

  • Santa Monica Dragons 6/7 Select Blue went 2-1 in pool play Saturday, then edged CitySide 2023 6-5 in a Sunday quarterfinal before falling to 3d Texas 2023 in the semis.
  • SoCal Express 2023 won three consecutive bracket games on Sunday, bouncing back from a 1-2 performance in Saturday’s pool play. Express defeated Santa Monica Dragons 6/7 Select Green, True Lacrosse Utah 2023 and ADVNC Sacramento 2023 to complete the bracket sweep.
  • After going 2-1 in pool play Saturday, 3d San Diego 2023 ran into a bracket buzzsaw on Sunday, losing 13-0 to Mad Dog West in the quarterfinals, then dropping a consolation game 10-2 to ADVNC SF 2023.
  • 3d Southland 2023 went 1-2 in pool play, then split two one-goal bracket games Sunday, losing 6-5 to RC 2023/2024 and beating Titanium 2023 6-5.
  • RC 2023/2024 and Santa Monica Dragons 6/7 Select Green each salvaged a Sunday victory to cap a tough weekend, with RC 2023/24 beating 3d Southland 6-5 to finish 1-4 in the event and Dragons Green beating Utah LC 2023/24 7-6 to also finish 1-4.

Data 2025/26 Division

Mad Dog West 2025, Adrenaline Challenge

Mad Dog West 2025 breezed through its five games, outscoring opponents 73-8 to win the title, including a 12-0 shutout of ADVNC SF 2025 in the title game. MDW beat Santa Monica Dragons 2025/2026 20-1 in the semifinals.

Elsewhere in the division:

  • RC 2025/26 cruised through Saturday’s pool play with a 3-0 record and a 27-8 goal differential but stumbled in Sunday morning’s semifinals, falling 9-2 to ADVNC 2025/26. RC 2025/26 closed out its tournament with a 6-3 win over Santa Monica Dragons 2025/2026 in a consolation game.
  • Dragons 2025/2026 went 2-1 in pool play, beating Islanders 2025 and ADVNC SF U10, before losing Sunday to Mad Dog West and RC 2025/2026.
  • 3d San Diego 2025 went 1-2 in pool play, beating ADVNC SF 2025, then beat ADVNC SF 10U on Sunday before dropping its finale to Seattle Starz 2025.
