Locals Help Adrln Tropics Dominate Paradise Shootout

A trio of college-committed seniors from Orange County seniors helped the AdrlnTropics dominate the Paradise Shootout in Naples, Florida this past weekend. Scotty Barger (Trabuco Hills, committed to Towson), Kevin Kodzis (Foothill, committed to Holy Cross), and Jason Simaan (Corona del Mar, committed to Brown) were selected to play for Adrln’s showcase group of high school players that are committed to play in college.

Adrln sent two teams, Tropics Blue and Tropics Yellow, to the event.  Both teams were untouchable until they met one another in the championship game.  Tropics Yellow outscored South Florida Swordfish, West Florida Lacrosse, and the 2017 Maryland Roughriders riders 33-9 to go undefeated in pool play.  Tropics Blue outscored Palm Beach Revolution, St. Louis Samurai, and IMG Academy Elite 40-8 to go undefeated on the other side of the bracket.
