8: Goals scored by Nate Marano against La Costa Canyon. Marano’s eight goals were good enough to land his performance at the top of the fan voted Top Plays of the Regular Season. Marano is committed to Denver and was named Player of the Year by the Orange County coaches as just a Junior. Watch his play here and the rest of the top plays posted on the days leading up to his article.

24: Girls named to the first and second teams in this year’s All-County voting. Six time OC and Six time Southern Section champion Los Alamitos led all teams with six players (five first team, one second team). Riley Eggeman of Capistrano Valley was the girls player of the year and Ryan Gustafson, her coach, was named coach of the year.

5: Two-pointers scored by CdM assistant coach Jeremy Sieverts. This weekend’s fifth two-pointer is a league high and made him an obvious selection for Team MLL who will play JSerra head coach Kyle Harrison’s Team USA in the MLL All-Star game June 26th.
