Lammers and Mason Headline Women Newcomers

Kailee Lammers (Dakota Ridge) and Madeline Mason (Fossil Ridge) headline a group of eight freshman and one transfer bolstering The University women’s lacrosse team roster. Both Lammers and Mason were All-State performers in high school.

The three DeRose sisters from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Gaithersburg, , and one player each from Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York round out the freshman class.

In addition to the eight freshman, sophomore has transferred to Denver from .  Wallevand a proven D1 talent who can help out in all aspects of the game.  She earned the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Year award and was named to the All MPSF Team.  She finished her freshman campaign with 19 goals, 10 assists, 29 points, and 47 shots. She also grabbed 51 draw controls, 15 ground balls, and caused 26 turnovers.
