Casey Powell, reigning MLL MVP and four-time All-American at Syracuse, is coming to California for a series of one-day clinics promising position-specific training under the watchful eye of current or former professional lacrosse players.
The first stop on their tour is Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Agoura HS.
Hosted by the L.A. Mavericks and their founder, Agoura head coach Sean Lindsay, the three-hour program features:
- Powell and Lindsay, a two-time All-American at Syracuse, working with midfielders;
- Liam Banks, Lindsay’s teammate at Syracuse where he also was a two-time All-American, working with attacks;
- Scott Ratliff, an All-American at Loyola and member of the Boston Cannons, working with defenders;
- Jesse Schwartzman, a three-year starter at Johns Hopkins and member of the Denver Outlaws, working with goalies
The clinic will be held at Agoura HS, running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Cost is $125, and players can register in advance here.
More information on the event can be found at the LB3 Lacrosse Club, which Banks founded.
