Kofoed Leads Santa Margarita Over Jesuit

Andrew Kofoed (Notre Dame de Namur) scored four goals to lead Santa Margarita Catholic High School to an 11-6 win over Jesuit-Sacramento.  It was the first loss for Jesuit (3-2), who are now ranked No. 13 by LaxPower.com in the North Coast Section, since opening day.   Quintin Buchman and Zach Taylor each had two goals and an assist for the Eagles. Logan Dochterman (1g, 1a), Joseph Fice (1g), and Shane Cobb (1g, 1a) completed the scoring for the Eagles.  Cobb was all over the field for the Eagles, complementing his offensive output with 3 groundballs and 3 caused turnovers.

David Fice (4 GBs and 3 CTOs) and CJ Deal (3CTOs) stood out on defense.   Max Vought had another solid outing between the pipes with 8 saves.

The Eagles (7-3) continue their spring break trip when they visit Granite Bay (5-1) today.
