Kings LC, Brady’s Bunch Rep OC at Champ Camp

A number of Orange County players will be putting a dent in their respective bucket lists when they step on  Johns Hopkins’ Homewood Field and Towson University’s Unitas Stadium to play their Champ Camp games this week.  Both Kings LC and Brady’s Bunch have sent teams to Champ Camp this year.  The Kings have supplemented their usual CDM-packed roster with rising sophomore Justin Cheng from Beckman.  The Bunch, which draws players from up and down the west coast, have invited Myles Smart (Foothill High School), Hayden Rodenbeck (Servite High School), and Nicholas Parrino (Santa Margarita Catholic High School) to join them in Baltimore.

Entering its 26th year,  Champ Camp pioneered  national high school competition, and has hosted teams from 30 states.  The Dukes LC out of PA has claimed 8 of the last 9 championships.  Champ Camp has hosted more than 1,000 high school lacrosse players who have gone on to achieve Division I, II and III All America Status.  This year Champ Camp offers 2 events that run concurrently: The Champ Camp for rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders, and Champ Camp Challenge for rising 9th and 10th graders.

Games begin today and you can follow the schedule and results at Check back with later this week to see if the Kings can top last year’s Continental Soldier look (pictured above).
